After enjoying a morning chat at Machiya guest house, we headed to Nijo station for lunch. There was a Italian restaurant on the corner of the crossroad nearby. The owner-like man looked smart and it seemed the seats were taken for reservations. Lucky we got there before the busiest time. Then we took a walk in Sanjo arcade, reaching the opposite side of the exit, it's time to have a coffee break. We found a nice blue colored cafe that produces a smell of pizza and also sells some cakes. We sat down and I looked the menu and thought "hmm, this is not what I expected," so I went to the showcase to check what they actually have. But the cakes displayed are ones that have a long expiration date, in other words, there is low risk of wasting. So I got a chocolate sundae, which is only served on dates containing number 3. When I told my mum about the heavy cakes, she immediately understood and said "Ah, chocolate." We have a quite similar taste for it.
